2015 Cause of the Year

International Religious Freedom

Stories of discrimination and persecution of Christians remind us that religious freedom is not guaranteed nor are religious freedom issues only displayed through discrimination and persecution. This cause of the year allows EPA members to highlight a critical issue to inform and engage the evangelical community.

Several EPA members exclusively report on topics related to this issue and others include regular or occasional reports on international religious freedom within the departments of their publication. If your publication would like to serve as a resource for other members or to provide a link to your publication’s cataloged articles on the topic, please send your information to director@evangelicalpress.com. As they are received, we’ll add them to a cause of the year resource list.

Members will be invited to enter their best work on this subject in the 2016 "Cause of the Year" category of the Higher Goals contest. Awards will be presented at the 2016 convention.
