EPA Board Submits Changes to Bylaws

The Evangelical Press Association board, under the leadership of President Dean Ridings, has announced that an update to the association bylaws is being presented to the membership for review. It has been many years since the bylaws, first adopted in 1965, have been updated, and references to such things as sending notifications to the membership by telegram are rather outmoded.

Some changes were recommended by EPA's legal counsel based on current legal requirements for non-profit organizations. Changes involving governance, such as board member terms, are also presented.During the May 3 business meeting at the 2013 convention in Nashville, the members present at the meeting will be given a chance to confirm the new bylaws.
