Registration is open for EPA 2020, the annual Christian Media Convention hosted by the Evangelical Press Association. The convention will be held April 15 to 17, 2020, at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort in Colorado Springs. Dozens of speakers will be offering 40 breakout sessions, expanded from the usual 30 workshops.
Speakers for the breakouts include best-selling author Jerry Jenkins, world-class photographer Gary Fong, former Disney Imagineer C. McNair Wilson, and Religion News editor-in-chief Bob Smietana. Other speakers include Captain Pamela Maynor, Chris Maxwell, Steve Rabey, Patricia Raybon, Marshall Shelley, Lisa Crayton, Dean Merrill, Jason Thacker, Michael Ray Smith, W. Terry Whalin, Tamara Welter, Mark Dreistadt, Jon Hirst and Sid Webb.
Lou Ann Sabatier will be presenting a six-hour intensive seminar on content strategy. “Content Matters: Strategy that Meets Business Goals and Reader Needs” is offered as a pre-convention elective on April 15, prior to the opening session of the convention at 4:30 p.m.
A panel of publishing CEOs will discuss the current and future state of Christian magazine publishing. Moderated by Lou Ann Sabatier, the panel will feature CT's Tim Dalrymple, Randall House's Ron Hunter, Jr., and World magazine's Kevin Martin.
Keynote speakers for the convention are John Stonestreet and Jackie Hill-Perry.
Morning forums will be presented by the Colson Center for Christian Worldview (Redeeming the Culture) and the Axis Team (Engaging the Next Generation).
