The title sponsor of EPA 2016 is Sight & Sound Theatres, one of Lancaster County’s most popular destinations. As part of their sponsorship, they are providing complimentary tickets to the Thursday night 6:30 p.m. performance of their new live show, “Samson.” The show will be preceded by an authentic Lancaster County smorgasbord dinner at 4:30 p.m., compliments of Hershey Farm Restaurant, located adjacent to the theater. Now in its 40th year, Sight & Sound Theatres® continues to bring audiences to their feet as Bible characters stand up and walk — and run, swim and fly — through world-changing, life-changing stories of faith, failure and redemption. What started with one Pennsylvania couple, a slide projector and record player, now is two 2,000-seat theaters — in Lancaster, PA and Branson, MO — that each year, combined, draw nearly one million people. Think massive sets, huge casts, sweeping original scores, animals on stage (and in the aisles), aerial feats, special effects and a 300-foot stage wrapping the audience on three sides. As personal as prayer, as dazzling as a man-swallowing whale swimming out and above the audience, Sight & Sound productions hit every note, touch every heart.

This spring, Sight & Sound Theatres® brings to life the Bible’s epic story of Samson in a $5 million stage production with 54 actors, 34 live animals, soaring sets and stunning special effects. The world’s first superhero — the strongest man who ever lived — steps out of history, not just with muscles and brawn but with faith and redemption. From one of the Bible’s most colorful stories, Samson delivers intriguing characters, extraordinary feats of strength and dazzling special effects. Audiences: get ready. When Samson, chained in a pagan temple, braces between two colossal columns and starts to push, the immersive theatrics literally bring down the house.

Convention attendees have the option of attending both the 4:30 p.m. dinner and 6:30 p.m. show (buses will board at 4:00 pm.) or just the show (buses will board about 5:30 p.m.). Buses will return to the hotel by approximately 9:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required for either option. While we anticipate there will be enough show tickets for everybody who wants one, there is a more limited number of tickets for the dinner, available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
