What started as a virtual substitute for EPA’s annual convention in 2020 has now become an annual event.
DigitalMediaCon, version 3.0, returns on October 25 to 27 with 15 new sessions focusing on digital communications and e-marketing. Billed as a virtual conference for Christian communicators, DigitalMediaCon is produced by EPA and co-presented with the NAE. Seven other media associations participate in the online event live streamed on the Whova virtual event platform.
The keynote speakers are Ed Stetzer, Jen Bennett and Erick Goss.
Stetzer is no stranger to EPA, having spoken at our conventions in 2010 and 2017. Besides his main role as professor and dean at Wheaton College, where he also serves as executive director of the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center, he has recently been named editor-in-chief of Outreach magazine.
Dr. Jen Bennett
Bennett, Professor of Strategic Communications at Indiana Wesleyan University, has amassed a huge social media following as host of the She Impacts Culture podcast. Bennett has coached various entrepreneurs, small business owners, ministries, organizations and college students in social media, personal branding, marketing and public relations.
She is also the author of the book #BeWorthFollowing: How to be Different and Influence People in a Crowded Social World.
Goss serves as the CEO and co-founder of Minno, a kids’ media and tech company that is committed to helping families experience Jesus every day, on and off the screen.
Goss became a senior manager with Amazon just after they had gone public. He led the creation of Amazon’s first ebook business, print-on-demand, Super Saver Shipping, the Amazon Credit Card, and oversaw North American book buying.
In time, he and a partner launched Minno. As CEO and co-founder, Goss brings his left-brain business expertise and his right-brain creative to Minno.
DigitalMediaCon 3.0 will follow the pattern established for previous conferences with the daily keynote presentation at 12:00 noon ET, followed by two live breakout periods with two options per period. A fourth daily period will feature on-demand “Best of” presentations from prior conferences. Each day will end at 5:00 p.m. ET.
All sessions will be available on-demand to registered attendees for ninety days.
The registration fee is $99 for EPA members. A special group rate of $396 will cover four to ten from a single organization (register four and get up to six more free).
