EPA Board Commissions Survey of Member Wages & Benefits

The EPA Board has commissioned Sightline Research + Strategies, an independent market research firm, to conduct an anonymous and completely confidential survey of EPA members regarding their salary and benefits. It's believed to be the first such research to have ever been attempted with EPA members.

Comprised of eleven multiple-choice questions, the purpose of the short survey is to gauge the salary levels and employer-provided benefits of those employed on the staffs of member publications.

The survey is for both full-time and part-time workers on the payroll, but not for contract labor or freelancers.

The survey was launched through an email blast to members on February 2. The deadline for responses is February 19. Results will be reported to the membership in a future Liaison.

As an incentive for members to complete the survey, a drawing will be held for a free iPad Mini 4 and four $25 iTunes cards following the close of the survey. The drawing will also be conducted by Sightline.

Any member who did not receive an invitation and link to the survey should email the Executive Director and include the name of their publication.

Sightline Research + Strategies is led by President and CEO Mark McPeak. Mark has more than 25 years of experience conducting market research projects with all kinds of organizations. He began his work in the automotive market research community working with some of the world’s largest corporations. He also regularly serves non-profit and ministry organizations.
