Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us at EvangelicalPress.com (a service of the Evangelical Press Association). We have an established policy to safeguard your personal information, and are committed to protecting its confidentiality. Our Internet site collects no personally identifiable information about you except when you specifically and knowingly provide such information.

Contact Information

If you are asked to provide your name, address, phone number or e-mail address, we will not rent, sell, or exchange your e-mail address with a third party for any purpose. (The exception to this policy is the membership application form. Contact information for EPA members is published in our member directory, which is distributed to EPA members and sold to interested parties.)

EPA members receive regular e-mail updates informing them of new information available on the website and of other news of special interest to EPA members. If you are receiving these e-mails but for some reason do not wish to receive such information, write to director@evangelicalpress.com and ask to be removed from our e-mail list or click the unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email.

Information you provide for your personal profile may be made available to other members, depending on the privacy settings you choose.

Credit Card Safety

All on-line orders are secure transactions, handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. This means that when you enter your credit card number into a form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it reaches the company that handles credit card transactions for us.

Kids and Teens

If you are a minor, be sure to ask your parents for permission before you send us any information about yourself. Do not post your full name, address, phone number, or school name on any message board or in any chat room. The EPA website is not aimed at children under 18 and their use of the site is not encouraged.

Law Enforcement

The Evangelical Press Association reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement officials in the investigation of alleged unlawful activities of our members and site visitors related to electronic communication transmitted on our site. EPA will have no legal liability for such disclosures.
