AI Policy for Contest Entries

EPA Code of Ethics

EPA members are expected to abide by the EPA Code of Ethics as it relates to the use of AI, specifically Section 2.2 Design and Photography and Section 2.5 Writing.

Use of AI in Contest Entries

All contest entries are to be original works and not generated or altered by AI. Limited use of AI tools, with direct human involvement and oversight, is permitted for the development of ideas, editorial refinement, or minor stylistic enhancements of the original work.

AI Acknowledgment

By submitting your entries, you are declaring that all your contest entries are original works and not generated or altered by AI, except for the limited use as outlined in the AI Policy for Contest Entries.
