Proving that excellence can be sustained and repeated, the 2025 Best in Class contest crowned seven former winners.
Four titles won their second First Place award in a row: Plugged In, Rapt Interviews, The Baptist Paper and The Voice of the Martyrs. Mutuality was also a two-time winner, having won a First Place award in 2023. Christian History won their third First Place award, and Common Good won their fourth First Place award.
All First Place winners will receive an engraved crystal award.
The Best in Class contest is conducted each summer with print entries based on circulation rather than the categories used for the Awards of Excellence. Entries were split with a balanced number of entries into four circulation ranges, plus additional categories based on format: newspapers and websites (which required a digital membership to enter). Each category was judged by two judges with the judges’ scores averaged to determine placement.
