Lamar Keener, Executive Director
Lamar Keener holds B.S. and M.A. degrees from Liberty University. He brings more than 30 years of experience in Christian periodical publishing, serving as President and CEO of Selah Media Group, and a decade of experience in higher education administration. He has been a member of EPA since 1990, serving terms on the EPA board as Treasurer and President, as well as chairing multiple convention committees. A native of Lancaster County, Penna., Lamar grew up on a potato farm, the son of a Mennonite pastor. He and his wife Theresa are the owners of Selah Media Group. They formerly published the Christian Examiner newspaper, Refreshed magazine and Christian News Journal. After living in San Diego for more than thirty years, Lamar and Theresa moved to Queen Creek, AZ in early 2017. They have four adult children and nine grandchildren. Email Lamar
Jennifer Howard, Director of Operations,
Magazine Training International
Jennifer Howard is the director of operations for Magazine Training International, where she manages training programs for Christians in magazine publishing in less-resourced countries. MTI is a division of EPA. She brings over 20 years of experience in strategic communications, writing, and editing. Jennifer has worked across corporate and ministry organizations, crafting clear, compelling content that resonates with local and international audiences. A seasoned writer and editor, Jennifer holds a B.A. in creative writing and magazine journalism from the University of Central Florida and is passionate about connecting message and mission within Christian publishing. Danny Conn, Contest Coordinator
Dr. Danny Conn is Director of Editorial & Strategic Projects at Randall House Publishers (Randall House holds seven publication memberships in EPA). He served on the 2013 steering committee for the EPA convention in Nashville. He received his undergraduate degree in theology from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College, earned a Masters in Pastoral Studies from Welch College, and earned the doctorate in Educational Administration from Pensacola Christian College. He and his wife, Diane, live in Springfield, Tennessee.
